The agenda of this project is the promotion of solar energy. The shop based in Kochi, deals with the promotion of energy saving units. The Solar Shop had a total turnover of 57.7 Lakhs. Through this products like Solar Laterns, Solar Home Lightening, Solar Water Heater, Power Plant, Solar Street Light are made available consumption.

The prime principle of the project is that “If there is to be an ecologically sound society, it will have to come from the grassroots up, not from top down.”

outREACH acts as an implementing agency of various Grama Panchayaths in the field of waste management, water & sanitation, new & renewable energy and organic farming. The division has diversified its activities to all over Kerala, Pathanamthitta being the latest addition. Boomika had a quantified leap in the projects undertaken comprising of installation of Bio gas generators, Baby Toilets and Vermin Pots in different districts. As part of the programme, outREACH provides consultancy, organizes sensitization programmes in communities and installs products at household as well as institutional level. Most of the initiatives are in association with Suchitwa Mission and various LSG’s.

Jalanidhi- Kerala Rural Water Supply and Sanitation Agency (KRWSA) was set up under the aegis of World Bank, as an autonomous body that functions under the Dept. of Water Resources, Govt. of Kerala. “JALANIDHI” has selected outREACH as one of its Supporting Organizations to implement the activities of its 2nd phase in 1st batch at Kunnanthanam and 2nd phase in 2nd batch at Arakkulam Grama Panchayaths of Pathanamthitta and Idukki Districts respectively. The primary aim of this agency is to facilitate and support year – round supply of adequate quantity of potable water to the rural Kerala, through the active participation of the user groups themselves. The aim of supplying water to every household in Kunnamthanam Grama Panchayath has reached its completion. Arakkulam Jalanidhi project was inaugurated recently.

outREACH an avid promoter of Organic food products and practices host Organic Fair along with Organic Charitable Trust, Kerala, and S.H. College Thevara. Organic food products and seeds were being sold at the fair and awareness classes had been given. The fair consists of Organic Farmers Meet, awards for Best Farmer and Best Broad casting station. Sahrudaya Services and Charities, KIDS, Bodhana, Coconut Development Board etc. were the other main partners who had co –operated with the fair and exhibition. Recently they conducted 11th Organic Fair at Town Hall Ernakulam.

Rajagiri outREACH is closely associated with Kalayathra, Padayathra, Souhrudaya Yathra, and Vijnayathra – a mission undertaken as part of Suchithwa Bodhana Yajnam in association with Mitradam and Sahrudaya Services and Charities. The activity envisages a clean Ernakulam within the coming years.

Every year June 5 is celebrated as ‘World Environment Day’. In this context, Suchitwa Bodhana Yajnam Kalayathra was held in association with ‘Mithradham Solar Energy Centre’ supported by M /S Noel, Passion for Premium. The Kalayathra has been conducted on dates 5 -20th of June. The team follow a theme every year and the UNEP theme for the year 2015 being ‘Seven Billion Dreams. One Planet. Consume with Care’. The Kalayathra had a reach of 33 Schools from Aluva, Paravoor Kavala, Nedumbassery, Angamaly, Kalady, Perumbavoor, Keezhillam, Muvattupuzha, Kolencherry, Vytilla, Thevara, Ernakulam, Edapally, Kalamassery and Kakkanad. The Kalayathra engaged in generating awareness through Posters, Magic shows, Documentary and songs held at Schools. The magic show exhibited by Mr. Sharavanan Palakkad was on the theme Waste Management. The Yathra could reach out to around 15,000 students.

Suchitwa Bodhana Yajnam – Vijnana Yatra was held in association with Mithradham and Sahrudaya Services and Charities dated from September 29 –October 02, 2015. This is in co –operation with Suchitwa Mission and various Local Self Governments in support of Noel. The 4 days Padayatra commenced from Aluva to Kalamassery had a reach of 12 educational institutions and Grama Panchayaths, Municipalities and Kochi Corporation.

Suchitwa Bodhana Yajnam –Padayatra was held in association with Mithradham and Sahrudaya Services and Charities regularly. This is in co –operation with Suchitwa Mission, Ernakulam District and various Local Self Governments. The 15 days Padayatra commenced from Aluva to Kakkanad had a reach of 20 educational institutions and Grama Panchayaths, Municipalities and Kochi Corporation. The Padayatra aimed at creating awareness among the people to protect nature through waste management. The Padayatra engaged in generating awareness through processions, posters, slogans, songs, skit, street play etc.
